My life is driven by four threads:
Storytelling, Character, Color + Collaboration.

As a child sketching beside my father, I would write and costume Christmas plays with my brothers. First traveling through museums and later traveling around the world, I learned to be fearless and to place myself in the path of adventure.

Voilà. I left the United States for France, where I built a life for three decades. Later, my husband and I traded our home for a sailboat and ventured out with our 10-year-old daughter – choosing motion, discovery, and the unknown over permanence.

Textiles were my first language. Learning to sew at a young age, my creativity led me to earn a BFA focused on weaving and dyeing, developing a deep sensitivity to fabric as narrative. At 16, an Oscar de la Renta show in New York sparked my imagination, and my world soon expanded to include punk bands, Parisian studios, and an ocean crossing from France to Bora Bora.

Art, travel, and immersion in other cultures shaped me into a storyteller who fell in love with film, especially the creation of costumes, where the costume becomes character and every detail carries a story.
